The next stage is about getting to know one another. You may meet a few members over a coffee or visit the hall in Wednesbury. Ask anything that matters to you: meeting dates, costs, dress, family commitments or what members gain from lodge life. It is equally important that the lodge feels right for you.

If you decide to continue, members will explain the formal application and selection process. This normally includes further conversations and a ballot by the lodge. The process is considered rather than rushed because membership is intended to be a lasting commitment.
